People consuming the content of the sites I develop are mostly concerned with reading text and accessing downloadable documents. Therefore, an open, clean design, with polished images and standard, predictable navigation is what I tend to build. I love photography and do all the photo rendering for my sites. I also love good design, but I’m a tech guy, not a gifted visual artist. So, in many of my projects, I have worked with a graphic designer—a visual artist gifted at creating beautiful logos—to first develop my client’s logo or brand, then I use elements of the logo to create a theme for the site. You’ll see many of Sarah Goodrice’s fine creations at the top of the web pages I build.
