WHERE?

 

Vincent Massey Park (areas K&L)
Heron Rd. and Riverside Dr., Ottawa park gates are on Heron Rd.

 

WHEN?

SPOKE will arrive at 5:30PM. Speeches will begin at 6PM.
Thurs., Aug. 3rd, 5:30 to 8:30PM

 

Picnickers will receive a booklet called "Organic in Ottawa", which will be a guide to Ottawa-area organic food suppliers, organic lawn and garden care services, organic producers, as well as relevant internet links.

For free parking, mention that you're there for the organic picnic.

Please bring your own plate, cup, and utensils, but those items will be available if needed. There is a rain shelter, if needed.

Any leftover food will be given to a charity for the homeless.

Presented by SPOKE - Students Promoting Organic Kinship with the Environment, cycling across Canada to promote sustainable food production & Canadian Organic Growers (COG)
