That would be French for “reason for being“. And I look forward to speaking French with my daughter someday soon.
I must say, now that I’m a father of a beautiful little girl (she’s 10 mn at this posting) everything I do has a new hue, a slight “outer glow” if you will (to use a Photoshop term). I’ve joined the realm of parenthood and I’m excited as pie. (Is that really a saying?) Anyway, sometimes that glow is more a drop shadow around my eye bags, but I tell ya, all of my civic activism and volunteer efforts to make this a better world now have a tangible purpose; my daughter, the next generation.
So, parts of my life work as an engaged citizen and event organizer will be shared here, along with the other fun bits of life in this category “Dadness and Life’s other bits”.
My family is on vacation up north at the moment, and while I’m supposed to be building window trim and finishing drywall around the house, like all true dads should do, I thought I would update my website. (Yeah great idea, let’s hope this doesn’t backfire) I can’t help but mention how much I miss them and how much trouble I’ll be in if I don’t get back to drywalling.
