I have explored digital photography as a hobby for years and enjoy a working proficiency with professional production/rendering tools, like Adobe Lightroom. These are of some of the places my wife and I have travelled to over the years; some places afar and others quite near.
West Coast Trail,
Vancouver Island, BC
We hiked the famous, incredibly beautiful, yet arduous hiking trail along the west coast of Vancouver Island with my adventurous Aunt and Uncle, Chris & Kamel.
The Netherlands
A fantastic cycling tour of The Netherlands with the McGauley fam in 2008. We slept on a canal cruiser (Wending) and toured through some of the most famous and scenic places of the country, including Amsterdam, Leiden, and the dunes near the university town of Bennekom, where our friends Steph and Trevor lived.
Myra Canyon, Kelowna, BC
Every view is incredible along the Myra Canyon trail—the old abandoned Kettle Valley Railway in Kelowna. We cycled this with my Aunt Christine, our local interpreter and hostess with the mostess. The train trestles alone are a must see. It leaves you with a total appreciation of handrails and solid construction.
Minesing Swamp, Ontario
Canoe Trip in April along the flat, meandering bends of Willow Creek and the Nottawasaga River—Minesing Swamp!
