The Peterborough Field Naturalists (PFN) is a club and registered charity that has been around since the 40’s and does incredible work. I joined the club and was nominated to the Board of Directors in 2006. At that time, the club needed an updated website to promote the Ontario Nature 2007 AGM and Conference at Trent University. I sat on the AGM planning committee and compiled all the web content, registration info, photos, and maps. I also created the committee-designed logo; an early attempt at graphic design. I’m a big fan of minimalism, and even then the simplistic lack of clutter was stylish. While the real artist in my family is my brother, Andrew, I used Illustrator to create the logo, maps, and styling buttons, and I built the site using Adobe GoLive. Ah, the good old days.
Amazingly, this site is still live today. Click the image below to launch the site, and relish in the fact that it is over ten years old; and it still rocks!
